We are residents of Tucson who have seen friends, family, and coworkers priced out of our area. We seek to drive policy change to increase the supply of housing at all levels and bring down the cost of living, and envisions an integrated society where every person has access to a safe, affordable, quality home near jobs, services, and opportunity. We are a diverse and local group of pro-housing, anti-gentrification advocates who represent a broad range of backgrounds and lived experiences, and we believe that housing is a human right.
We see sprawl consume acres of pristine desert and increase the number of cars on the road. We see working families struggle every time the price of gas goes up. And we see the mounting evidence that we cannot fix climate change without rethinking how we use cars. Tucson for Everyone fights to make transit more accessible while investing in a better transit system, and advocates for alternative infrastructure like bike lanes and more walkable streets. We want everybody to live a good life in Tucson without needing a car to get around.
