The integrated document was built in three steps:
- The July 27th version of the Tucson Unified Development Code was used as the base text.
- The City’s May 28, 2026 draft redlines were applied to that base.
- Additional redlines and corrections were layered onto the City draft to reconcile definitions, numbering, cross-references, grammar, state-law implementation, and interactions among related sections. Included with this are changes to policy that we recommend.
Code edit convention in the integrated document
- Red strikethrough text is proposed for deletion.
- Red underlined text is proposed for addition.
